Hampstead Heath Pub Crawl

Branding | Typography Art Direction: Stephanie Knopp

Hampstead Heath is an ancient, hillside town located in London, England. Each year on New Year’s Eve, visitors take part in an annual pub crawl across the many historical pubs that make Hampstead Heath such a warm, homey town. A few years ago, I was lucky enough to go on the New Year’s pub crawl and it was such a memorable experience that I wanted to bring to life through a cohesive brand.

Logo Process

I wanted to focus on the highlight of the event; watching the fireworks at midnight on Parliament Hill where the Pub Crawl ends. The entire London skyline can be seen from this scenic hill, so the logo features an elegant combination of the London Eye and a firework.

Invitations

The invitations for the New Year’s Eve pub crawl are meant to give the guests an elegant experience that makes them feel special. I achieved this by using a simple script font that compliments thin, vector linework of the London skyline. These illustrations paired with gold foil complete the simple yet modern brand.

Pub Crawl Map

Every pub crawl needs a beautiful map to guide the guests around during the night. For Hampstead Heath, I wanted to continue the simplicity of the invitations while including enough information so guests don’t get lost (especially while drinking!).
